This is still one of my favorite pieces - how I felt at the time, drowning in the expectations of others.
The lineart was done with Sakura Micron pens, coloring done in Clip Studio Paint, and then I erased the lineart layer. Another old one I still like, despite some flaws. This was my first finished piece of 2020, and I want to re-do it as the first piece of a coming year to do it justice.
The title and imagery came from a nighmare I had, about a place from my childhood. Done entirely in Sakura Micron pens, Arteza illustration markers, and Faber-Castell neutral toned Pitt markers. How it feels to dissociate.
Lineart done with Faber-Castell Pitt markers, screen gradient done with Clip Studio Paint. All the different facets of PTSD. This is reeeeeealllly early, but it still resonates with me, and I may end up doing an update on it sometime.
Faber-Castell Pitt artist markers for lineart, Arteza illustration markers for color. |
