THE HUMAN BEHIND THE SITE: Coco Carré, Artist & Reviewer
I've loved books since I was a little girl, even before I knew how to read. Anytime my parents or sisters would get bored with reading me one of my favorite bedtime stories and would try to change it up, I would correct them with the actual prose in an instant. As an adult, I grew up to work in technical writing, psychosocial research, mental health, and then eventually back to my first loves: books, art, and horror.
What interest me most in art and writing is the relation between emotions, especially fear, and the human experience. Whether it's how small a character feels after meeting a cosmic entity, the connection between two people forged during a tragedy, or the internal events of a killer's mind, I strive to find that in what I read--as well as to communicate what's unique about your work to a wider audience.
